The members of a certain species that share the same area. One area can have multiple populations of different species.
All of the populations in a certain area.
IMPORTANT
Communities ONLY contain biotic factors!
Types of land ecosystems.

Types of biomes found in certain regions depend on temperature, moisture, climate, terrain, types of minerals
Same biome can be very different in different places(ex. desert biome)
Mentioning the point above, biomes are abstract categories of multiple places that share the same characteristics. A biome CANNOT be a place(i.e. the Amazon rainforest)
Types of Biomes:
All of the living and nonliving things in a certain area.
- Biotic factors and abiotic factors
- Depends on the region(or area) that you define it to be in and the point of view that you view the ecosystem in
Ecosystems are dependent upon area or place, unlike biomes.
Types of ecosystems:
Ecosystems primarily on land, similar to terrestrial biomes
Ecosystem primarily in/on/near the water, similar to aquatic biomes.
Types of aquatic ecosystems:
Ecosystem in salty or partially salty water, like oceans. Contains most of the water on Earth.
Ecosystems mainly in freshwater, like rivers.
Water-based biomes that are defined by their water depth and salinity(freshwater ecosystems vs. marine ecosystems)
Land-based biomes defined by their climate, including their temperature and precipitation levels.
